HCS PiE Newsletter

Who's ready for some (WARM) spring weather🌷!? Thank goodness...it appears to be around the corner. But all the daffodils and new buds on the trees also means we've only got a 5 WEEKS left in the school year. Ready or not😄

Educator Appreciation Week was a wonderful success due to the support of everyone who made cash donations through Venmo and the generosity of local retailers, Hannaford, Lake Champlain Chocolate and Ben & Jerry's!

The HCS PiE annual fundraiser with the Vermont Lake Monsters is also underway, so mark your calendars for Friday, June 5th and keep reading for more details!

As always, we thank you for your support in all ways!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

If you attended the Family Fun Night & Basket Raffle back in March, please considering taking a few minutes to fill out this survey! We made some significant adjustments to the event this year and while the steering committee has our view of how it went, we really want to get the feedback of those in attendance! From a fundraising perspective it was as successful as previous versions of the event, raising just shy of $4,000 for HCS!

One thing that continues to be challenging for the PiE Committee is a lack of time for researching opportunities for partnering with local business who offer donations of products or services. Would YOU be willing to spend a few hours reaching out to local businesses (a list that will be complied and ready for you!) to gain point-of-contact info and a sense of how PiE may be able partner for the greater benefit of the HCS Community?? Think about it and let us know!

We've gotten a few questions about when the apparel store will be open for HCS Huskies merch, and the answer is FALL 2026! Keep an eye out in this newsletter and the Husky Highlights for more information on the next opportunity to purchase HCS merch. Thanks!
