BES Parent Weekly Email
April 25, 2025
From the Principal
Parents,
We had another great week at Belton Elementary!
As we prepare for state testing next week, here are a few reminders for you to be aware of...
Attendance - Be early for school so that your child does not feel rushed. Your child needs to be in class and seated no later than 7:45am. Students who are late for school will not be allowed to go to class once testing has started due to this being a testing violation.
Breakfast - Make sure your child has eaten breakfast. If they need breakfast at school, give yourself time to make sure they have enough time to eat. Breakfast is open from 7:15-7:40am.
Snack - Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack. Water bottles will not be allowed in the classroom. The school will provide water bottles for every student.
Students cannot have any electronic devices. This includes cell phones and watches.
Early Release - Students will not be allowed to be released early from school due to testing. Please reschedule any appointments to another day.
Encourage - Encourage your child to relax and just do their best. There is nothing on the test that is not something they have been taught this year.
As always, thank you so much for your support.
Mr. Fowler

Reminders
Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Breakfast
If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Tardy Bell
The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.
Early Dismissal
Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.
Free Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
