In Memoriam
April brought immense sadness to the Village as we said goodbye to one of our brightest stars. Mrs. Lynn Corine Brown entered eternal rest, and while we miss her deeply, we know she is with us and bringing joy and light to our lives in ways we can't imagine. Mrs. Brown affected many lives in her years in education and we will forever remember the gifts she shared, the laughs she brought, and the love she gave. Once a STAR, always a STAR.
We will hold a memorial Balloon Release Monday, May 17, at 10:00am in the school parking lot. If you choose to join us, grab your balloon and your mask, and we'll see you in the Village.
STAAR Testing is here!
We're Not Finished Just Yet...
Families, we have but a few weeks of school left to close out the year successfully. Please help us by encouraging your scholar to continue accessing coursework in Schoology and completing all necessary assignments. This has been a challenging and interesting year, but we can certainly finish strong with great fortitude. We appreciate your endless support, the opportunity to educate your child, and we look forward to an even better 2021-2022 school year in the Village!
Teacher Appreciation Week
Next week, teachers across the country are being celebrated for Teacher Appreciation Week. We invite you to have your child give a note of thanks or a small token of appreciation to his/her teacher(s) the week of May 3 - 7.
Time to Check HAC!!
Please log in to Home Access Center to review your child's grades. As always, we strongly encourage you to continue to maintain constant contact with your scholar's teachers so we can work together for success. Progress Reports are available on HAC Wednesday, May 5.
Office Staff
We recently celebrated our exceptional front office staff: Ms. Gonzalez, Mrs. Salinas, and Mrs. Bermudez, for Administrative Assistants' week! Our "behind the scenes" people help keep the Village running smoothly and effectively. It is a joy to see their smiling and happy faces each day as we enter the building. Thank you, ladies!
