LHS Blue Knights Weekly Update
November 26, 2025
Here is what is happening in our building
Happy Thanksgiving
I hope you were able to relax and enjoy Thanksgiving break with family and friends and take some well deserved downtime doing what makes you happy!
Gift Card Drive
Please keep our “Gift Card Drive” in mind when you are out and about this weekend. Over the years, our Lunenburg Community has helped many families in town who can use a little help during the holiday season. It truly does take a village and we are very grateful for ours. Gift cards can be dropped off at any of our schools.
Thank you so much to those of you who have already donated!

Clothing Drive
Are you holding onto clothing that you don't really wear and is just taking up space in your closet? Chances are you might be one of many Americans that only regularly wear a small portion of their wardrobe! Luckily, the Class of 2026 is offering you a chance to clear up some extra space in your closet all while fundraising for a great cause.
From December 8th through January 16th the Class of 2026 is holding a Clothing Drive sponsored by the Epilepsy Foundation of New England! We'll be collecting clothing/shoes/linens at the Middle-High School. Each pound of clothing collected will provide funds for our class and help support the Epilepsy Foundation in their fight to stop seizures. All donations must be in 13 gallon kitchen trash bags or larger. More information will be sent out next week with a list of acceptable items and information on when and how to drop off donations.

Senior College and Career Planning:
Lots of Excitement in the Guidance Offices as College Acceptances are beginning to roll in!
To continue planning for your future:
Students are encouraged to work closely with their school counselor as they navigate through this process.
It is important that students are aware of the admission requirements and deadlines for the schools they are applying to.
Here is a link to a college application specific guide that students can refer to:2026 College Planning for Seniors
As most Early Action deadlines have passed, students who are applying for Regular Decision should be working with their school counselor on getting their applications done before their deadlines.
The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a great time to get those applications done.
