High School News and Notes ~ Homecoming 2026 Edition
Homecoming 2026: A Night Under the Stars
Homecoming 2026 is almost here and we could not be more excited to celebrate an energy-filled week of school spirit, community, and time-honored traditions! This year's theme is "A Night Under the Stars" as we hope to once again host our Homecoming dance held on Saturday, September 26th from 7:00-10:00 pm outdoors at our stadium (weather permitting). Homecoming is a major function of our Student Government and we thank Mr. Pichette and our StuGo leaders for their energy and efforts in planning what will be a great week.
Please use this newsletter as your one stop shop for all information related to Homecoming 2026.
We encourage all BBHHS students and families to get involved, join in the fun, and help make this Homecoming Week one to remember. Whether you’re dressing up for Spirit Week, cheering along the parade route, gathering for the bonfire, attending the game, or joining in the dance we hope to see you there.
Let’s make 2026 a week filled with energy and tradition and we cannot wait to see our entire BBHHS community come together.

Dance Ticket Sales Window
Homecoming tickets will be available for sale starting on Wednesday, September, 16th until Thursday, September 24th until the end of the business day. Do not wait and buy your ticket before the window closes as discounted tickets will not be sold after the window closes.
Dance Attaire
Homecoming is a semi-formal event, and all students and guests are expected to wear attire that is school-appropriate and in keeping with our school dress expectations. Students are encouraged to choose clothing that will allow them to comfortably participate and enjoy the evening. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as students may be standing and dancing for extended periods. Since the dance is planned to include outdoor activities, please also consider the expected outdoor temperatures and weather conditions when selecting your attire.

How to Purchase Dance Tickets
Purchasing dance tickets is easy! It is the same service we utilize for all of our athletic department events and should be familiar to most BBHHS families. Please be aware of the following steps to be prepared to purchase a Homecoming dance ticket.
1) Access the event through Hometown Ticketing app or by clicking this link (Tickets are not yet posted for sale so please wait until 9/16 for purchase)
2) Scroll until you see a red "Have a passcode?", and click on that link.
3) When you click on that, a textbox will appear telling you to enter a passcode.
4) The passcode you will enter is your Student ID number.
5) Enter your Student ID Number (Located in PowerSchool or PaySchools)
6) Hit apply, and go through the process of purchasing. (Please note,
the tickets should be delivered to the email address you input during the ordering
process.)
As a reminder, students/families must complete their Final Forms to purchase dance
tickets. If you have not completed Final Forms registration, your Student ID number will not be provided to Hometown Tickets, and you will not be able to purchase a ticket.
Homecoming Dance and Expectations
Please be aware of the following dance expectations as outlined below:
1. Students must present their electronic ticket or a printed version to be scanned at
the door.
2. ELECTRONIC TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AFTER THE SALES WINDOW CLOSES. THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION MAY APPROVE CASH SALES ONLY FOR BBHHS STUDENTS (NO GUESTS) AFTER THE WINDOW CLOSES AT A HIGHER PRICE POINT.
3. BBHHS Students are permitted only one outside guest to attend the event.
4. Outside guests must complete a dance affidavit (signed by a school official from
their home school and the BBHHS student's parent).
5. If an outside guest is over the age of 18, the BBHHS student's parents must
acknowledge the awareness and authorization of their child's guest.
6. Dance affidavits must be digitally returned no later than Wednesday,
September 23rd, at 3:00 pm by uploading a picture of the form here (Guest

this, they can see Mrs. Kraus in the assistant principal’s office. NO

THE SAFETY OF ALL IN ATTENDANCE.
7. A portable sensor equipped to detect the presence of alcohol will be used on
every student and guest.
8. Students must have signed off on the Student Handbook before attending. If a

school), they will not be permitted to enter, even if they have purchased a ticket,
and no refund will be issued.
9. Families MUST COMPLETE the Student Information Sheet via Final Forms
before attending the Homecoming Dance. Please allow at least 24 hours after
completing Final Forms before purchasing tickets, as new codes are

uploaded over the weekend.
10. All ticket sales are final, and tickets will not be refunded for any reason.
11. Students must purchase a ticket with their Student ID # (labeled as a passcode on
Hometown Ticketing). This number can be found on your student's School Pass ID or in PowerSchool.
Dance Guest Affidavits
At this time, non-BBHHS students may attend the Homecoming Dance as guests of a BBHHS student. However, both the BBHHS student host and their guest must agree to follow all Homecoming Dance attendance requirements, including the completion of a Guest Dance Affidavit.
Please note the following important requirements:
- The Guest Dance Affidavit must be completed by Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
- Students who do not complete the affidavit by the deadline will not be permitted to bring an outside guest.
- There will be no exceptions to the deadline.
- All guests must be at least in 9th grade and no older than 20 years of age to be eligible to attend.
- Both the BBHHS student and their guest are responsible for understanding and following all expectations and requirements for attendance.
We ask students and families to carefully follow these procedures if you are planning to bring a non-BBHHS guest. These requirements help us prioritize the safety and security of our students while ensuring that we have a clear understanding of who will be attending our Homecoming Dance. If students do not follow the proper procedures or expectations they will be denied entry and or removed from the event.
Homecoming Parade and Bonfire
Our annual Homecoming Parade and Bonfire, a favorite tradition for our BBHHS and Brecksville-Broadview Heights community, on Thursday, September 24th! This year, the parade is returning to the Brecksville Town Square, launching from the Municipal Lot and making its way through the Public Square before concluding at the Old Stadium for our Homecoming Bonfire.
The parade will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., and travel north on Route 21 so we encourage everyone to arrive early and find a spot along the parade route. Following the parade, we will gather at the Old Stadium for the bonfire and the introduction of all of our fall athletic teams. The evening will conclude at approximately 9:00 p.m. after all teams have been introduced.
Homecoming Game and Queen and King Announcement
Join us for our Homecoming Game as the Bees take on Kenston on Friday, September 25th starting at 7:00 p.m. Before the game, our Homecoming Court will be presented at 6:40 p.m., followed by the announcement and crowning of our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are available through Hometown Ticketing or at the gate on game day.
