Here are the basic things you need to know about MTA:

Primarily, administrators will use this tool.
MTA can compare assessment performance across multiple assessments.
This tool is meant to visualize assessment performance across multiple years, so you can identify trends.
This data may help you determine whether your district and local assessments accurately measure the standards covered on state assessments.
If your district or local assessments are comparable to state assessments in content, rigor, and setting, you may get an idea of how students might perform on their upcoming state assessments.
This is not a predictive tool. It is a highly valuable tool for evaluating your assessment program, looking for weaknesses, and measuring the success of your initiatives.

Why might you want to compare assessments across multiple years?

You want to gain an accurate understanding of how students typically perform, so you can manage your expectations and set goals.

JUNE 15th Archive DEADLINE

We are excited to share that we are modernizing several professional processes within Strive to provide you with more intuitive and flexible tools! This update includes a brand-new form builder and a streamlined process builder designed to better meet your district's unique needs.

To ensure a smooth transition to these new features, your current evaluation data must be finalized and stored. To facilitate this migration, all districts must complete their end-of-year archive by June 15.

Completing this archive early ensures your data is securely preserved in our existing tables before we move to the updated system. It also gives your team plenty of time to explore the new tools before the start of the next school year.
