As a reminder, the movie night that was scheduled for Friday evening, September 20, will have to be rescheduled.

The repairs to the gym HVAC system are taking longer than we originally anticipated. This is due to a thorough cleaning of the ductwork, which was identified as necessary during the repair process. As a result, the repairs will take at least through the weekend. Our maintenance team is working diligently with the contractor to ensure that everything is resolved as quickly as possible while also ensuring safe air quality and optimal environmental conditions for all.

We will provide more information on the new date once the repairs are complete. Thank you for your understanding!

The Project Lit Book Club for 4th & 5th graders, their families and staff starts next week. We partner with Highcroft and Sorrento Springs to do this. We will meet each month at the Bread Co. at Town and Country at 141 and Clayton (14123 Clayton Road) at 7pm to discuss the chosen books.

Here is a link for more info and to the schedule of books for the year. The first meeting is September 26. They will discuss the graphic novel Freestyle.

• The date has been changed for the 4th and 5th grade Spring Orchestra Concert. It will now be on April 29 (instead of May 1) at 7 pm.
• The North Area String Fest (involving 5th grade strings students) has been moved to November 16, 9:00 am to 12 pm, at Northeast middle school. (The original date was in December.)
• The 3rd grade Strings and General Music Concert is April 30. (This is not a change.)

Parkway families and employees are now able to sign up for food pantry distributions this year by completing this form. Families don't have to sign up to come, but it helps us anticipate the number of patrons we will be serving, as well as enabling us to email those who register with updates and reminders before the day of distribution.
