Mock ACT Results Available Soon
9th–10th Grade Students: Scores can be accessed on Progress Learning by clicking on Graded Assignments and viewing the Score Report. For step-by-step guidance, students can reference the screenshots provided in Help Accessing Mock ACT Results (9–10).
11th Grade Students: Student score reports will be distributed in their English classrooms by Friday, February 13th.
What do the scores mean?
ACT benchmarks show whether a student is on track to be successful in college-level courses. Meeting a benchmark means the student has a 50% chance of earning a B or higher and a 75% chance of earning a C or higher in that subject area in college.
Here’s what each section measures:
English (Benchmark: 18) – Assesses grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetoric. Meeting the benchmark suggests a student is ready for college English Composition.
Math (Benchmark: 22) – Measures algebra, geometry, and basic trigonometry skills. Meeting the benchmark indicates readiness for college Algebra.
Reading (Benchmark: 22) – Tests reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex texts. Meeting the benchmark shows readiness for college-level social science courses.
Science (Benchmark: 23) – Evaluates interpretation of data, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving. Meeting the benchmark reflects readiness for college Biology.
Important Note: ACT benchmarks are based on graduating seniors, so it’s normal for 9th–11th graders to still be working toward these goals. Students who have not yet met a benchmark can use their Mock ACT data to identify areas for improvement and focus their study efforts before the official ACT.
