Dear Parents / Carers,
We have had a lovely week in school this week as the children continue to settle into routines and timetables. The week has been filled with voting for key pupil roles for Head pupils and Team Captains and I have to say that the standard of speeches and presentations made it very difficult to choose. Congratulations to those pupils that have taken on these roles, I am sure they will make excellent role models.
Thank you to everyone who has donated good quality second hand shoes. This has been really helpful so please keep us in mind as your child grows out of their school shoes throughout the year.
As you will be aware, school is closed on Monday due to the bank holiday and National Day of Mourning for the Queen's funeral. We re-open on Tuesday at 8:35am.
Just a couple of notices this week:
- Please ensure that your child brings a coat to school. As the weather is starting to become cooler, we have noticed a few children saying they are cold at play time but have no coat in school.
- Please do not allow your children to run through the car park as they arrive or leave the school. They should be on the paths with you.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

We are looking to hold this early October and should be able to confirm the date in next weeks newsletter. We will be providing some more information about Friends and what we do and have done in previous years over the coming week - via a letter/flyer in book-bags and online.
We will also be issuing a surveymonkey link via various channels to get parents opinions and input on joining or being involved with Friends and fundraising and events ideas. We welcome as much input and feedback as possible.
