Winter Family Fun!
Applications can be picked up starting Wednesday, Oct. 15, at various locations in the county, including the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in Rock Spring, the LaFayette Housing Authority, the Walker County Health Department, and all Walker County libraries. Completed applications should be returned to one of these locations.
Applications can also be requested by sending an email to lafayetteareaemptystockingfund@gmail.com.
The last day for turning in an application is Monday, Dec. 1.
- "You must be a Walker County resident to apply and have custody or guardianship of the children in which you are applying for.
- The parent or guardian must be the one who completes the application.
- Submit only ONE application per family. Do not resubmit the same application.
- You must supply the Name, Social Security Number and age of the child in which you are applying for. Not having this information will cause a delay or denial for your application.
- Applications are accepted from November 1st through November 30th, we will not accept applications after the deadline.
- Make sure to list a good phone number and a good email address. Your acceptance letters will be emailed to the email you provide on your application."
