Thornton Creek Digest

Happy Wednesday, TC!

We’re looking forward to our Book Swap tomorrow and hope you can join us—it's always such a joyful way for students to share books and discover new favorites.

We’ve also enjoyed gathering ideas from students this week about what Spirit Week should look like next week. Be on the lookout for the results of the votes on Friday!

As part of Inclusive Schools Week, we’ve loved hearing everyone share about what makes our school feel inclusive and welcoming. Be sure to check out the growing paper chain on the staircase—students have been working on it during lunch, adding links that highlight how we are all connected.

And don’t forget to take a peek at the beautiful new mural coming to our hallways. Sneak peak below! A huge thank you to Piper and Kerri for bringing this vision to life for our community!

We are so excited to share that our new Community Resource Guide is officially finished and ready for families. A huge shout-out to everyone who contributed to bringing this important resource to life—TCPG, Melissa Johnson, and Margaret Woley, our BLT parent representative. Thank you all for your time, care, and collaboration.

We hope this guide serves as a helpful hub of information and support for our entire TC community.
