Inspiring Purpose, Compassion & Excellence
WISHING YOU A WONDERFUL WINTER BREAK
We wish your family a wonderful winter break! We hope you enjoy many adventures with friends and family. Whether you are traveling far or enjoying favorite traditions at home, we wish you a peaceful break filled with joyful and memorable moments.
School will resume on January 6th. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the new year!
DAYS OF SPIRIT & KINDNESS
This week, we had the wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community to celebrate days of spirit and service leading up to winter break. Over four festive days, students proudly dressed in pajamas, ugly sweaters, winter colors, and sparkle. Their creativity and enthusiasm truly shined, bringing joy and energy to our school halls.
In addition to celebrating school spirit, we also took time to recognize the powerful impact our community makes when we come together. More than six hundred students and families participated in meaningful acts of service, showing what it means to care for others. Through our food drive and sock and toiletries drive for the Parker Task Force, our young students helped support neighbors in need and learned the importance of giving back.
We ended the week with one final, heartfelt act of service. After listening to stories about the power of spreading kindness, every student wrote a letter to a senior living in a Parker nursing home who may not have someone to celebrate with during the holidays. The students’ notes were genuine, uplifting, and truly heartwarming.
We could not be more proud of our students for demonstrating such kindness and leadership—both at school and throughout our community. Thank you to our families for supporting these special days and helping us raise compassionate, caring learners.
ELEMENTARY PROGRESS REPORTS RELEASED DECEMBER 20TH
Teachers are excited to share your child's academic and social-emotional celebrations—as well as next steps for growth—through the Elementary Progress Report (EPR).
EPRs across the District look slightly different this year. In an effort to build greater consistency in reporting, all elementary schools are now reporting on Priority Learning Outcomes rather than broader, general standards. As a result, you may notice that the Learning Outcomes listed in this reporting period may appear more detailed or more numerous than in previous years.
The Elementary Progress Report (EPR) will be released on Saturday, December 20. Click here to Access Your Child's EPR via the EngagED Parent Portal on the 20th. For additional District support and troubleshooting tips related to accessing and understanding the EPR click here.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We appreciate your support as we work together to ensure a positive and successful school experience for your child.
