🐾 Bulldog Weekly Reminder 🐾
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for hosting such a wonderful Harvest Fest! We are also so grateful to our Barstow community for coming out and supporting this special event. Our students had an incredible time. There were smiles galore, lots of laughter, and buckets full of candy! 🍬🎃
And families, one small request from your principal... please save all that sugar for the non-school days! 😂
Bus Evacuation Drills - Fall 2026
Barstow Elementary School is planning to conduct our Fall bus evacuation drills in the mornings, the week of October 19-23. On the assigned day of the drill, the school bus drivers will perform a front exit, back exit and split exit drill. Barstow staff members will be present to facilitate the process and assist as necessary.
Please support the school bus drivers and school staff by talking about school bus safety with your child. The general expectations are to:
- Sit in your seat, on your seat
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself
- Talk quietly and respectfully to the students beside you

🐾🧡 BARSTOW, YOU SHOWED UP AND BLEW THIS YEAR’S HARVEST FESTIVAL OFF THE MAP! 🧡🐾
What an incredible night! Thanks to the generosity of our Barstow families, local businesses, staff, and community, we were able to come in under our projected event budget and raise over $3,000! 🎉
Every donation made a difference! All of the candy you donated helped us support 22 trunks and 12 vendors, and by the end of the night, there wasn’t a single sweet left to pass out! 🍬🍫 That is what happens when our Bulldog community comes together!
We have SO many people to thank for making this year’s Harvest Festival one for the record books!
🎃 Our Trunks, Vendors, Food Trucks & Community Volunteers
Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, participated, and helped create a night full of fun, laughter, and lasting memories. We couldn’t have done it without you!
🐾 Our Amazing Community Youth
We want to give a special shout-out to the young people who generously donated their time and energy to make this event a success! Students from the Huntingtown High School Lacrosse Team, Calvert Middle School NJHS, and local art students from our own schools stepped up to help with activity stations, setup, and cleanup. They took so much of the workload off our PTO volunteers, and their willingness to give back to our community deserves to be celebrated! We are so proud of our local youth! 🧡
🍎 Our Incredible Barstow Staff
We cannot forget the staff members who showed up, volunteered, donated, and participated! A HUGE thank-you to our 5th Grade Teachers, 4th Grade Teachers, Mrs. Hogan, Mr. Brown, Mrs. Bast, Mr. Wolf, Ms. Jones, and Mrs. Beckwith for donating raffle items!
These staff members took time out of their own busy schedules and even spent their own money to support our Barstow community. That kind of dedication and generosity means more than you know. We are forever grateful for our amazing staff! ❤️
🎁 Our Generous Local Businesses & Community Supporters

Your generosity helps us give back to our students and school in meaningful ways, and we are so grateful for your support!
🐶 And Finally… OUR PTO VOLUNTEERS!
To every PTO member who planned, organized, gathered donations, coordinated volunteers, set up, worked stations, cleaned up, and did all the little things behind the scenes to make this event happen — THANK YOU!
So much work goes into an event like this, and seeing our community come together makes every bit of it worthwhile. We are proud of what we accomplished together and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.
We hope your families had an amazing night filled with fun, laughter, and memories that will last long after the candy is gone!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS YEAR’S HARVEST FESTIVAL ONE TO REMEMBER! 🎃🍬
