From the Health Office:

The stomach flu has exploded across the valley( our school) and it's going through families quickly. Just a reminder that your child MUST stay home for a full 24 hours from last vomiting, fever and diarrhea. The stomach cramps associated with this have been lasting for a couple days after too.

Influenza A has hit the 4th grade. Symptoms include: fever, cough, body aches, sore throat, tiredness, runny /stuffy nose and headache. As a reminder your child needs to be 24 hours fever free and feeling well enough to attend school.

Also going around is strep throat- no school until on antibiotic for a full 24 hours and fever free for 24 hours.

Pink eye- no school until on treatment for a full 24 hours.

Parents, this is a super busy time of year. Please remember to take care of yourself !

Eat right, exercise if you can, lots of water, take those vitamins, wash those hands and try to get some sleep!

In Health,

Nurse Suzy and Ms. Lucy
