Arrival Procedures for Day 2 and for the Rest of the Year

Due to rain today, we just had students enter the building rather than meeting on the blacktop and having their teacher escort them to the classrooms.

Guess what? Everyone got to their classrooms with the guidance of staff posted throughout the building.

With that said, rain or shine, we will follow the same procedures as we did this morning.

  • Grades K-2 students will enter through the main entrance.
  • Grades 3-5 students will enter through the 3-5 blacktop exterior doors.

Safety First

It was brought to my attention that some students were not using the crosswalk when crossing the street to get onto campus. Bus drivers reported that some students were walking in between the parked buses.

Please use the crosswalk when crossing the street to ensure your safety and the safety of your child.

Staying Hydrated

We do not have water fountains in the building, but we do have water bottle filling stations.

We strongly recommend that students bring a water bottle to school every day.
