Do Good Day
Important Information
We are so excited for our Blue House Do Good Day on Wednesday, April 22nd! To make our day a success, please make sure learners wear a blue shirt and comfortable shoes.
As a small part of our day, we will take a short 10 minute walk to Coppell Middle School West to work with their learners on service projects. Our projects will include creating banners with the Art Club, chalking Earth Day messages with the Hope Squad, and gardening with their Garden Club. Learners will work on these projects for one hour and then return to Lee. Please email me to let me know if you donโt want your learner to participate in these off campus activities.
For the remainder of the day we will participate in service projects on campus. Our projects include:
- Decorating lunch bags for Meals on Wheels
- Crocheting blankets for Project Linus
- Creating flower decorations for the Remington Retirement Community
- Sorting hygiene donations for Metrocrest
- Creating posters for the Dallas Public Library
- Creating coloring books for Childrenโs Medical Center
Your child will come to school and dismiss as normal. Looking forward to a day filled with doing good services for our community.
