Good morning Husky families!
We're looking forward to hosting our STEM Night & Science Fair in a couple of weeks! Join us for an exciting evening of science and STEM activities the evening of Monday, March 23. We are in need of parent volunteers to help bring the program to life. Opportunities range from set up to visiting the student presentations to handing out certificates (no science experience needed!). Sign up here to help out.
Also, if you attend Open House this Wednesday, make sure to check out the new artwork on our Tile Wall! Tiles created by our students for the 2025-26 school year were just hung up and look fantastic!

The Spring Brook PTA is excited to host our annual STEM Night and Science Fair on Monday, March 23! Join us for an evening of exploration, curiosity, and creativity. In addition to interesting student projects attendees will get to see a special presentation by Mad Science of Northern Illinois.
Date: Monday, March 23
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
*** Participants are required to check in at 5:00 pm***
Dough Raising events are an opportunity to join with others in our Spring Brook Community for fun, food and a little fundraising. A portion of sales during these events are donated by our community partners to support the efforts of the Spring Brook Elementary PTA.
The next Dough Raising event will be held at Sky Zone Trampoline Park on Friday, March 13. Show this flyer or write "Spring Brook" in the comments of your online order. 25 percent of proceeds will go back to the school!

A Note from Our Community Relations Chair:
As the PTA looks for new ways to partner with the community to enrich the lives of our students, we are expanding our sponsorship program for events during the 2025-2026 school year.
If your family owns or is connected to a local business and is interested in sponsoring a Spring Brook event, please see the attached letter for more information or reach out to Ellen Muryan.
Spring Fling Theme Announced!
Our entire Spring Brook community comes together each year for this epic event, featuring bounce houses, a cake walk, food, games, prizes, amazing raffle baskets, balloon artists, face painting, food, drinks, and an exclusive 5th-grade-only glow party.
Spring Fling 2026 will be held on Friday April 24, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the school.
Wristbands and tickets will go on sale later this month. Be on the lookout for an email from room parents about raffle baskets!

Volunteers Needed STEM Night & Science Fair on 3/23
In order to make the Spring Brook STEM Night and Science Fair a success, we need your help! If you're able and willing to volunteer for a portion of the event on Monday, March 23, please see the list of opportunities and time slots.
Volunteer roles include:
- Set-up
- Project Check-in
- Science Enthusiasts - visit and talk with students about their projects (no science expertise required)
- Peer Review Table
- Certificates and Goodie Bag Pickup
- Clean-up
We greatly appreciate your help and support!
