All Juniors will participate in state mandated testing on the following dates:
- April 8th - SAT Testing - Juniors are released after testing

New this year for Juniors is the WIN Learning Assessment which, which has replaced the ACT Workkeys. Similar to the Workkeys, WIN measure foundational career readiness in Work Ready Math, Reading, and Data.

Work Ready Reading builds reading comprehension and reasoning skills to prepare learners to utilize documents in the workplace, such as memos, letters, directions, signs, notices, policies, and regulations. Skills include obtaining and applying new vocabulary; following complex instructions; and understanding policies and procedures. 60 Minute Test
Work Ready Data builds analytical skills to prepare learners to interpret sources of data in the workplace, such as charts, graphs, tables, flowcharts, diagrams, and maps. Skills include identifying trends among variables, recognizing significant and extraneous data points, and drawing conclusions from one or more sources of data. 60 Minute Test
Attendance is very important on testing days so please arrive early and be ready to do your best!

For student safety and success, Westwood High School is a CLOSED CAMPUS. Students are to remain on campus during the school day unless they have a Patriot Online or Dual Enrollment class. Students may also leave when they have an appointment and have been called out by a parent or guardian.
Students are NOT to leave campus during lunch.
New this year is the Patriot Press website where you can access the digital version. Go to

Student Handbook
We encourage both parents and students to read the student handbook carefully. It provides important information about school expectations, rules, and available resources, helping everyone understand their rights, responsibilities, and how to create a safe, respectful, and successful learning environment together.
