NorthsideStudent MinistrySee what is going on this week and beyond!

As we head into another week of REACH, we’re thankful for the community God continues to build within our student ministry. We’re looking forward to another great night of fellowship, fun, and growing together in Christ! This week, we’ll be celebrating Flannel Theme Night, so be sure to wear your favorite flannel and come ready for a great night. We can’t wait to see everyone as we continue connecting, building friendships, growing in community, and strengthening our faith together!

Gratitude- November is often known as the month of Thanksgiving because of the holiday we celebrate at the end of the month. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to focus on gratitude and what it means to live with a thankful heart. We’ll explore what gratitude looks like from a biblical perspective and how we can put it into practice in our everyday lives.

Week 1- This week, Cory will open our Gratitude series and explore Colossians 3:15–17 and what it means to live with a thankful heart from a biblical perspective. The focus is that even when life doesn’t go the way we want, we can still choose to be thankful by allowing the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts, making God’s Word a home in our lives, and doing everything in the name of Jesus to honor Him. Rather than focusing on what we don’t have, we should recognize the many ways God has blessed us and praise Him for His goodness and faithfulness. Above all, we can always be grateful for Jesus, who willingly gave His life on the cross so that we could experience forgiveness, have a relationship with God, and receive the promise of eternal life.
