Our Quarter 3 SIS RISE Award recipient truly exemplifies what it means to be relational, innovative, servant-hearted, and enthusiastic about serving students and staff. Mrs. Debbie Barineau has made a lasting impact on our campus through her dedication, flexibility, and genuine care for others.
Earlier this year, Mrs. Barineau served as our RTI teacher, where she worked closely with students to build their confidence and strengthen their academic skills. She used thoughtful strategies and engaging lessons to meet students where they were and help them grow. Through this role, she built strong relationships with both students and staff, always encouraging those around her and offering support wherever it was needed.
When a need arose in 4th grade, Mrs. Barineau stepped forward with faith, grace, and a positive attitude to take on the role of classroom teacher. In a short time, she established structure and consistency while building trust and mutual respect with her students and their families. She has created a classroom where students feel heard, valued, and cared for.
Mrs. Barineau’s servant heart is evident in her willingness to step into challenging situations simply because it is what is best for students. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her colleagues, encourage her students, and bring positivity to our campus.
Her commitment to relationships, her dedication to serving others, and her passion for helping students succeed make her a wonderful example of the SIS RISE values.
