Trisha Eddy, K-6 Assistant Principal

Trisha brings more than 20 years of experience in elementary education, with a strong background in classroom instruction, mathematics, instructional coaching, and school improvement. She currently serves as our K-4 Math Specialist in WSVSD, where she has helped lead district math initiatives, strengthen student support systems, and support high-quality teaching and learning. Jim Donnelly, 7-12 Assistant Principal

Jim joins us from Hood River County School District, where he most recently served as Assistant Principal and Interim Principal at Hood River Valley High School. He began his career as an English teacher and later moved into instructional coaching and school leadership. Jim brings experience in supporting student learning through programs like AVID and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. In 2021, he was recognized as the Oregon Teacher of the Year for the Columbia River Region. He also brings a strong background in athletics and coaching, along with a clear commitment to building connections with students and families.

The school board will take action to formally approve these hires at the May 28 board meeting.

Please join me in congratulating Trisha and Jim and welcoming them to WSVSD. I’m looking forward to the leadership they will bring to our students and our community.

My best,

Rich Polkinghorn
