New ELA Curriculum
This year, our district is implementing a new literacy resource to support all students in becoming strong, confident readers and writers. We are excited to introduce Amplify CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) in grades K–5 and Amplify ELA in grade 6. These research and evidence-based programs are designed to develop foundational skills, build knowledge, strengthen comprehension, and meaningfully connect reading, writing, vocabulary, and language.
Our teachers are learning right alongside students as we implement this new program, and we are committed to making it a great experience for everyone. At the start of each unit, families will receive a letter to help you understand what your child will be learning and how you can support them at home. We truly believe that literacy growth is a team effort, and we are excited to partner with you this year.
Thank you for your support.
