Volunteer
Our Book Fair needs a lot of volunteers to make it successful.
If you are volunteering for the fair, please read all instructions before signing up. When volunteering during school hours, we kindly ask that parents do not go to the classroom to grab your student(s). You will need to go to the office to check them out.
Visitors to Book Fair
Remember visitors need to check in at the front office during school hours (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
Book Fair is closed from 3:00 pm until All Call. It will resume Tuesday and Thursday once carpool is over.

If you have had an e-Wallet in the past and have a balance you can bring up your account and add to it instead of creating a whole new account. Please be careful when entering the teachers name and make sure it is spelled correctly so that it is easier for us to locate your students account.
If you would like to print out the e-Wallet confirmation with the barcode on it that is fine but they should be in the system as soon as you set up an account. It is recommended that you set up an account for each of your students to keep from one child using all the money in the account. (It's happened)
You can setup the e-Wallet through our book fair website:
Important Details
- If you feel that your child should not be buying certain books/items (gaming, Lego w/toys, higher A/R level), PLEASE come with them to the Fair. We do not have the students reading level and with so many students visiting the Book Fair it would be hard to govern. Please either make sure your child understands what they should be getting and/or come with them. Books that have an A/R level will have a sign with the level on it.
Students may come to the Book Fair through-out the school day with the permission of their teacher. Unfortunately we have had to deal with theft at past fairs, so no backpacks or bags of any kind may be brought into the fair by students. Students must take their purchases to their classroom once they have paid for them.
We often have students using their e-Wallet and/or credit cards to pay for other students' purchases, my volunteers and I can not monitor this so please have a discussion with your students if you prefer that they not do this. We prefer that they do not share their funds with other students since it has created issues in the past.
- Scholastic does not allow for us to take returns unless it is a toy/pen that falls apart. We have students that buy a book, read it and try to return it. We will discuss this with them but they need to make sure it is an item they want to keep. This is another reason for you to have a discussion with them about what they should and shouldn't be buying.
- No unattended students will be permitted to hang out at Book Fair while parents are at conferences. NJHS will have free child care available during your conference times.
