Mr. Sampson and his team built a new 9 square set up for GMS students. This is a favorite game of our middle schoolers! This one is heavy duty and hopefully not easily blown away by our OK weather like our old PVC pipe one was. Thank you, Mr. Sampson!!

GMS parents, not including parents of new enrollees, if you have not updated your student's information on Sylogist, we sent home an enrollment packet on Thursday, August 28. If you have any questions or run into any difficulties, please call the middle school at 918-786-2203, extension 4; Mrs. Shannon and Ms. Tiffany will be glad to help. . As always, thank you for your support of all things GPS!

Who needs a day off? About fifteen of the GMS Student Council members traded sleeping in for paint rollers, giving a new teacher’s classroom a colorful fresh start!

Mrs. Woods has students learning about the Earth by making their own globes out of balloons. We also hear her homeroom class lost a friendly competition with Mr. Burroughs' class so she had to wear a dinosaur mask that day!

Student behavior at GMS is centered around The Ridgy Way; students will be responsible, be respectful, and be safe.

Teachers hand out Ridgy Tickets when they witness examples of students exemplifying good character.

Oct 29 & Oct 30- 7 grade to NEO *tentatively. This will be divided by homeroom and half will go one day, the other half the other day.
Nov 3- Hoops for Hunger reward trip for one homeroom class and 7 & 8 Stuco. Depart at 9:15
Nov 4 & Nov 6- 8 grade to NSU *tentatively. This will be divided by homeroom and half will go one day, the other half the other day.
Nov. 18- Picture Retakes
Nov 24-28- Thanksgiving Break
Dec. 18 & 19- Semester Tests
Dec 22-Jan 2- Christmas Break
