We could not be more proud of our students, teachers, staff and community in announcing that ALL District 30 schools have earned an "Exemplary" designation on the 2025-26 Illinois Report Card! The Illinois State Board of Education released Report Card details this morning.

For the school year ending in spring 2026:

  • 91% of District 30 students met or exceeded proficiency standards in English language arts (ELA)

Donations will ensure people in our community and beyond will stay warm, with donations benefiting organizations like PADS, Stock the Shelves and Connections for the Homeless. Thank you for helping those in need in our community!

A note from Nurse Mindy A note from Nurse Mindy

A little change (of clothes) goes a long way!

Spills, puddles, playground adventures, and little accidents happen! Please remember to send an extra change of clothes (including socks and underwear) for your child to keep in their locker. Having a spare set of clothes will help keep our little Wolves comfortable and ready for whatever the school day may bring! Thanks for helping us keep our Wolves happy, healthy and dry!!

Way to go, Wescott Wolves! 🐺📚

The Wescott Library wants to give a BIG shout-out to our amazing Wescott Wolves for their generous donations to Bernie’s Book Bank!

Together, you collected an incredible 9 full bins of books! 🎉 That’s a whole lot of stories, adventures, and opportunities waiting to be shared with children in our community.

Your generosity helps support Bernie’s Book Bank’s goal of distributing books to 25,000 more children this year! What an amazing way to show that small acts of kindness can make a BIG impact.

Thank you, Wescott Wolves, for helping spread the joy of reading—one book at a time!

File nominating petitions Nov. 16-23

Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 will have four school board seats to be filled at the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2027. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2031.

Candidates for the office of the school board can begin circulating nominating petitions for signatures. The period for filing nominating petitions runs from November 16-23, 2026.

A candidate for the school board is required to file the nominating petitions, Statement of Candidacy, and receipt for filing their Statement of Economic Interests with the applicable county election clerk and not with the school board secretary or the administrative offices of the school district. The county clerk may have petition forms available, or blank petitions may be downloaded from the State Board of Elections website.

Candidates may also want to consult the “2027 Candidate’s Guide,” which can be downloaded from the Illinois State Board of Elections website, or contact the county clerk or board of election commissioners regarding the requirements of filing. Candidates and voters can get information about District 30 from our website and learn about being a school board member from the Illinois Association of School Boards at: iasb.com/elections.

Candidates who are interested in seeking endorsement from the District 30 School Board Caucus should contact Katie Schick (kateschick0609@gmail.com) by Friday, October 16. The School Board Caucus is a committee of District 30 residents that includes families both with and without children enrolled in Willowbrook, Wescott and Maple schools. The Caucus' role is to source, screen and endorse potential school board candidates. To be considered by the Caucus, candidates will need to complete a detailed application as well as an interview. If you are interested in learning more about joining the Caucus, please contact Katie.

Did your family receive a kindergarten "A New Wolf Pup Lives here" lawn sign welcoming you to the Wescott Crew? We would love to reuse these signs to welcome next year’s newest Wolf Pack members! If you’re able, please consider donating your sign back to the PTO. We realize we didn’t communicate this when the signs were distributed, so we completely understand if you no longer have your sign.

Signs can be returned to the collection bin in the front vestibule, or email wescottpto@district30.org and we’d be happy to arrange a pickup from your home. Thank you for helping us welcome our newest Wolves year after year!
