💙🐊 A Message from Dr. Kocin 🐊💚
Gator Families,
What an amazing first month of school! As we move into September, our Gators are settling into routines, building relationships, and—most importantly—learning and growing every single day. It has been such a joy to walk through our classrooms and see students engaged, working together, taking risks, and discovering just how much they are capable of accomplishing.
As we continue our school-wide theme, The Power of the Next Move, we are reminding our students that growth happens one choice, one challenge, and one step at a time. Not every move will be perfect—and that's okay! What matters is that we learn, adjust, keep moving forward, and never stop believing in what we can accomplish.
🏫 We Can't Wait to Welcome You!
Please join us on Wednesday, September 10 for a special evening at Arbor Springs!
Title I Annual Meeting | 4:45–5:00 PM
Learn more about our Title I program, school goals, family engagement opportunities, and how Title I resources support our students.
Curriculum Night | 5:00–6:00 PM
Visit your child's classroom, learn more about grade-level curriculum and expectations, and discover ways you can support learning at home.
Your partnership matters more than you know. When our families and school work together, our students benefit—and we are so thankful to have you as part of our Gator family.
September is another opportunity to Dream Big. Work Hard. Make It Happen. I cannot wait to see what our Gators accomplish next!
Thank you for trusting us with your amazing children each day. We love our Gators, and we are so glad you're on this journey with us! 💙💚
With Gator Pride,
Dr. Adrienne Kocin

Dress Code
☀️ A Quick Dress Code Reminder! 👗🩳
As we settle into the school year, we wanted to share a friendly reminder about our dress code expectations—especially when it comes to the length of shorts, dresses, and skorts.
We know mornings are busy, kids are growing fast, and sometimes those shorts that fit perfectly last week suddenly seem a little shorter! 😊 Please take a quick look at our flyer for a helpful reminder of what’s appropriate for school.
Our goal is simple: keep students comfortable, confident, and ready to learn while following our school expectations. 💛
Thank you, families, for partnering with us and helping our students start each day ready for a great day at school! 🍎📚
Safety Corner
🛡️ Officer Jacob’s Gator Safety Corner 🐊
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As your School Resource Officer (SRO), my goal is to help keep our students, staff, and families safe while supporting a positive and welcoming school environment.
Each month, I will share a few simple safety reminders that families can reinforce at home. This month, please talk with your child about the importance of speaking up and making safe choices.
Please remind your child to:
Tell a trusted adult if they see or hear something that makes them feel unsafe.
Follow school rules and staff directions, especially during emergencies or drills.
Stay aware of their surroundings when arriving at or leaving school.
Never share personal information with people they do not know, either in person or online.
Make responsible choices online and tell an adult about inappropriate or concerning messages, images, or interactions.
Treat others with kindness and respect and report bullying or threats rather than trying to handle them alone.
Parents can help by having regular, calm conversations with children about safety. Let them know that reporting a concern is not tattling—it is one way we take care of ourselves and others.
Thank you for partnering with our school to keep our children safe. If you ever have a safety concern involving your child or our school community, please don't hesitate to reach out to the appropriate school staff or law enforcement personnel.
Stay safe, stay aware, and remember: if you see something that concerns you, say something.
