The Academy Avenue Announcements

Dear Academy Families and Friends,

It looks like a great week ahead. Just a quick couple of things to note:

The staff is excited for Parent/Teacher conferences. Tuesday evening the meetings are in person and Wednesday afternoon will be virtual meetings.
Due to conferences, students will be dismissed early on November 16 at 11:50AM. Please make sure you have arrangements in order for the release.
Monday, November 14, we'll be hosting a small before school walk for Ruby Bridges Day from Legion Field to Academy. Families and students are welcome to join. We'll meet at 8:30 and leave Legion Field at 8:45 AM so we get to Academy on time.
The ST Math Challenge is on. To beat Jiji on the road to 80% we'll need extra help and practice time at home from the kids. Just once or twice a week from home can make a huge difference. Currently kids should have 20% of their journeys completed.
Lastly, thank you so much to all of the students and staff who participated in the Veteran's Day spirit day. The kids looked great in all their different colors. More pictures can be found on our Facebook page.

Let's have a great week!

Mr. Higgins
