Message from Mrs. Ouche
Dear Parents/Guardians & Seniors,
With graduation just around the corner, please take a moment to read through this newsletter to ensure that you have all the information you need to help your senior get through this final push successfully. Included in this newsletter is information regarding the SANP (Senior All-Night Party) as well as information to get you all ready for the ceremony itself, including when tickets will be distributed.
Each graduate will be allotted a 10 tickets for the ceremony. At this point there are no additional tickets left to give out, students should reach out to friends to see if anyone isn't using all their allotted tickets. We are communicating with those that made requests to let them know how many they were granted. This year’s ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Viking Pavilion at Portland State University on Thursday, June 13th. The Viking Pavilion is located at 930 SW Hall St., Portland, OR 97201.
If there are concerns regarding your/your student's eligibility for graduation, please contact the counselor now.
The counselors are as follows:

- Paris Penn - 503.408.2624 (students Last Name H-O)

SENIOR DAY - June 12th
Senior Day is full of events for our class of 2024. Seniors are asked to bring with them their caps & gowns to have for the grad walk. The day begins with a pancake breakfast served by the HS administration, seniors will then load buses and head to the elementary schools in Parkrose to participate in the Grad Walk, a Parkrose tradition in which seniors wear their caps & gowns and walk the halls of the elementary and middle school while the students in those school clap, high five and get to see what all the work they are putting in is for! After the grad walk the seniors will take their 24 class picture, they will then participate in MANDATORY graduation practice and finally pick up their tickets!! If there are any questions about this day please reach out!
This year's Senior All Night Party will be at Bullwinkle's on the night of June 7th, the last day of school for seniors. The cost is $15 per senior, which includes all food, activities and transportation. In order to participate you must submit a permission slip and payment. If you have any questions, please email parkrosesanp@gmail.com.
Important Reminders
ATTENDANCE:
"Senioritis" is real, encourage your student to hang in there! Maintaining attendance clear to the end can be difficult for some senior students, especially as they near the end. However, attendance is the number one key to graduation, please help us help your student reach their end goal by encouraging strong attendance all the way up to the end. If you are concerned about your student's attendance please reach out to the attendance office by calling 503.408.2600 or speak with your student's counselor!
CREDITS:
Please be sure to review your student's grades and reach out if you have questions about whether or not your senior is on track for graduation. Our counselors are happy to speak with you and work with your senior!
BEHAVIOR:
For some unknown reason, there are times where seniors don't see that school rules still apply to them until they graduate. Nothing is further from reality! We never want to have to disclude a senior from participating in graduation or the activities that lead up to it, we hope that all of our Broncos can continue to follow all school regulations.
