Webb's Arrival & Dismissal Plan & Map
Dear Webb Families,
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our highest priority. Please review our arrival and dismissal procedures below to help ensure a safe and efficient start and end to each school day.
Morning Drop Off 7:40-8:10 AM
Beginning at 7:40 AM, staff will be on duty outside to receive students. Students being dropped off by car will enter the building using the front entrance and proceed to their designated classroom.
Students arriving by bus will enter the building using the side door and proceed to their designated classroom.
Children needing to eat breakfast at school will proceed to their classroom when they arrive and get breakfast there. Breakfast is served from 7:40-8:05 AM.
If using the carpool at the front of the school (off Louisiana), you will drop off by going eastbound on Louisiana and entering the front school driveway by turning right before the marquee. Please see attached map.
Make sure your children have all of their belongings ready and they are prepared for a quick departure from the vehicle when you pull into the driveway.
If you choose to walk your children up to the front doors, please park in the front parking lot and use the crosswalk to help your child cross the street. For their own safety, children are not permitted to cross the parking lot alone. Do not park in handicapped parking spots without displaying the appropriate placard.
Follow hand signals of staff and Safety Patrol and pull all the way up.
You will exit the front school parking lot and carpool and turn right on Louisiana
Bike riders should place their bikes in the bike racks at the front of the school. Please stand bikes or scooters up, to allow plenty of room for everyone else.
All students must be in the building by 8:10 AM. Any student not inside the building will need to come the front office to receive a tardy slip.
Afternoon Dismissal 3:20-3:35 PM
Car Riders
Car riders will be escorted to the cafeteria for dismissal.
Parents will stay in their car and have their carpool number visible from the rearview mirror. All students will enter their vehicle from the passenger side of the vehicle.
Students will only be released to vehicles with carpool numbers. If you forget yours, please park in a designated parking spot and go to the front office with your valid government-issued photo identification to pick up your children.
Teachers on duty will relay car numbers as the vehicles approach the front of the school. Children are then called from their waiting areas inside the building and assisted by safety patrol/teachers to load into their awaiting vehicle.
Once you have picked up your student, follow the single file line out of the driveway, turning right on Louisiana.
Walkers and Bike Riders
Students will be dismissed at 3:20 PM and exit the building. Students walking home can exit from the front of the school or back of the school.
Students will only leave school premises using the designated crosswalks to cross the street and will be walked across the street.
Bike riders will walk their bikes off of school property and not ride their bikes until congestion has cleared.
Students may not cross into the parking lots in the front, sides or the back of the school.
Parents walking up to meet their children will wait for them in the east side designated waiting area. Please see attached map.
Club 360
Students will be picked by Club 360 staff escorted to the gym area.
Parents sign these students out with the Club 360 staff through the designated door communicated by Club 360.
Day Care/Bus
Daycare and Bus riders are dismissed to the gym for dismissal. A teacher on duty will escort students out the gym to their daycare van or bus.
STC Students
Students riding the bus will be escorted from their classroom to their awaiting bus by a staff member on duty.
STC parents using a vehicle, should use the Bus/Daycare/STC Pick Up lane off Jennie St. Please see the attached map. STC parents will be given a designated sign to be able to access this lane.
Students being picked up in vehicle will be escorted from their classroom to their vehicle. Parents will remain in the vehicle at all times and have their carpool number visible from the rearview mirror. Students will enter the vehicle from the passenger side.

McKinney ISD Hot / Cold Weather Guidelines (Non-UIL)
Dear Webb Families,
Below are the official McKinney ISD Health Services guidelines regarding outdoor activities during extreme temperatures.
MCKINNEY ISD HOT / COLD WEATHER GUIDELINES (Non UIL)
Heat Guidelines for NON UIL Activities
MISD will utilize Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) as the recommended forecast measurement to monitor environmental conditions (heat) during outdoor physical activities. WBGT estimates the effect of temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation using a combination of temperatures from three thermometers.
MISD will use the DTN Weather Sentry App WBGT reading to determine the level of activity in which students can participate in outdoor activities.

Complete Your McKinney ISD Volunteer Background Check - NO Grace Period
Interested in volunteering in McKinney ISD for the 2026-2027 school year? Volunteer applications are being accepted for the upcoming school year. McKinney ISD requires all volunteers complete the required volunteer process each school year. Please note, MISD will not have a grace period this year for volunteers to complete their annual background check. This means you must apply and wait for your approved background check before you can volunteer on campus for the 26-27 school year.
All volunteers with McKinney ISD agree to a background check each school year prior to beginning volunteer duties. McKinney ISD is dedicated to making sure that all students have the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and secure environment.
The volunteer application process is just one effort used by the school administration to help make our schools safe.
VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS MAY TAKE UP TO TWO WEEKS TO BE PROCESSED.
To apply, click the link below and select the School or schools of your choice. An email account is required for notification purposes. Once your volunteer application is processed and the criminal background check is complete, you will receive an e-mail notification regarding your application from the MISD Human Resources department.
