and community. Orders close April 13, and plants will be ready for pickup May 8 (just in time
for Motherโs Day!).

Walk and Roll Committee
El Camino de Dolores Walk to School Day on Friday, April 10
Letโs get ready to walk for our first ever El Camino de Dolores Walk to School event! This year, weโre honored to dedicate our steps to the incredible legacy of Dolores Huerta. This year, we're taking inspiration from the extraordinary life of Dolores Huerta. As a civil rights icon and labor leader, Dolores paved the path to justice, organizing farm workers and leading powerful marches for fair wages and safe working conditions. Her journey showed us how courage, persistence, and a united community can transform lives. By joining this event, you are building community in her honor and learning about her great work. To learn more about Dolores check out this video.
Volunteer with Us!
Earth Day Celebration Volunteers for Kids Activities - Sunday, April 19 + Cardboard Donations
The Woodstock Garden Committee is looking for some volunteers to help out with kid's activities during the Woodstock Earth Day School Clean-up / Garden Work Party on Sunday, April 19. Volunteers will help with a variety of fun activities such as helping children paint flowerpots, help face paint, guide a scavenger hunt, etc.
Mr. Hunter is also asking for cardboard donations - the bigger the better, such as refrigerator boxes. This will be helpful in terms of laying it down in areas where grass and weeds are growing where we want to then cover with bark mulch. You can coordinate with Mr. Hunter by sending him an email (jhunter@pps.net).
