First Week of School!

We had a fabulous first week of school. Our students practiced procedures, worked on curriculum, and got to know their classmates and the staff better. I am very excited about the work ethic and behavior of our students this year.

The expectations are high and the students are excelling!

Our students are continuing to focus on being safe. They are making sure they are being kind to all! Please continue to talk with your child about making sure Springfield is a safe place for all!

We will be wearing green again this Friday to signify being SAFE!

The Wolfie Way

Springfield is joining with all MIchigan City Area Schools to focus on doing things the Wolfie Way! One way to do this is by being to school on time and every day. We had great attendance the first week and I am sure it will continue with our first full week of school!

Pick Up/Drop Off Procedures

Please take a look at the Do's and Don'ts listed below for ensuring that our parking lot is safe for students and families. By following the directions listed, we will have smooth drop off and pick up.

Please remember that if you do not plan to park, your child needs to be ready to leave your car as soon as the doors open.

Safety Reminders

We are committed to ensuring our students are safe at school. With this in mind, please remember the following:

Please enter and exit through the front door only.
Please push the button at give your name and purpose of visit when asked.
Once entering the building, please go immediately to the office.

Absences & Dismissal Plans

If your child is going to be absent, please call the office by 9:00 AM. If you do not reach someone, please leave a message.

Please remember to call by 1:30 if you have a change in dismissal plans - i.e. riding the bus instead of being picked up. After 1:30, we cannot guarantee that the student and teacher will be able to get the information.
