Beneke Blast April 25, 2026-May 2, 2026

Dear Parents,

As we enter the final week of STAAR testing, I want to take a moment to thank our entire school community for your continued support and encouragement.

I am incredibly proud of our students for the effort, focus, and determination they have shown throughout testing. They have truly demonstrated perseverance and a commitment to doing their best. We are excited to finish strong this week!

Remaining STAAR Testing Dates

  • April 28 – Mathematics Grades 4 and 5
  • April 29 – Mathematics Grade 3

As we wrap up testing, please continue to support your child by:

  • Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep
  • Providing a healthy breakfast
  • Encouraging them to take their time and use the strategies they’ve learned
  • Reminding them to do their very best

This is our time to shine—we are prepared, confident, and ready!

Looking Ahead

  • The first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week. We encourage you to join us in celebrating our amazing teachers for their dedication and hard work.
  • All students in grades PK–5 will begin End-of-Year (EOY) assessments. Attendance during this time is extremely important, as these assessments help us measure student growth and plan for next year.
  • Our annual Field Day will be held on May 15th.
    • PK–2nd grade: Morning
    • 3rd–5th grade: Afternoon
More details will be shared after STAAR testing. We will also be looking for volunteers, and a sign-up link will be sent soon for those who would like to attend and support their students.

Please remember, our campus will remain closed to visitors through May 8 due to state and local testing.

Thank you again for your partnership and support. I am proud of our students and grateful for our strong school community.

With pride and appreciation,
Principal Smith

Estimados padres:

Directora Smith
