Principal's Message
Dear Allenwood Elementary School Families,
As we reach the middle of May, it’s hard to believe that we are approaching the final stretch of the school year. This is always a special time, filled with exciting events, celebrations, and opportunities to reflect on all the growth and accomplishments of our Allenwood Dragons. I am incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families for the dedication and spirit you’ve shown throughout the year.
I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in our Autism Awareness Keychain Fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity and support, we were able to donate $558.00 to POAC.
A very special thank you goes out to Mayfair and our PTG committee members for the tremendous amount of time and effort they devoted to planning this meaningful event. I also appreciate our teachers who volunteered and all of our Allenwood families who came out to enjoy such a special evening together.

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
