Red Ribbon Week
Hello, PRES Families!
Thank you for joining us for Parent-Teacher Conferences! We had a great turnout and appreciated the opportunity to celebrate your child’s progress, answer questions, and strengthen our partnership.
Our Scholastic Book Fair was a tremendous success! Your purchases help support our school library and provide more opportunities for students to discover the joy of reading. Thank you for encouraging literacy at school and at home!
A big shout-out to the families who donated treats for our upcoming Trick-or-Treat event! Your generosity will help make this a fun and memorable evening for our school community.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe, involved, and ready to learn!
Warmly,
Mrs. Pacheco, Principal
Mrs. Berryhill, Assistant Principal
Red Ribbon Week: October 26–29
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that encourages children and families to live healthy, safe, and drug-free lives. At the elementary level, our focus is on helping students make positive choices, care for their bodies and minds, choose supportive friendships, and ask trusted adults for help when needed.
Red Ribbon Week, October 26–29: Join us as we celebrate healthy choices! Please see the flyer for each day’s activities. Rio Arriba County will visit on Wednesday, October 28, for a special Red Ribbon presentation.
Thank you for partnering with us to support happy, healthy, and confident students!
Picture Retakes
Wednesday, October 28: Campos Photography will return for students who missed fall picture day or would like a new photo. Please return the form sent home. We are ONLY taking those who MISSED picture day and if you would like to retake your picture send the packet you received back to school with your child for RETAKES. Thank you.
Costume Day
Thursday, October 29: Students will have an opportunity to spend their earned Elk Bucks!

Please visit the sign-up link on ClassDojo to choose an open slot. Students may wear school-appropriate costumes. Masks, props, and blood or gore are not allowed.
