Mission
Our Catholic school mission is to develop the whole child in a Christ-centered environment to become a loving, productive citizen in today's world.
Vision
Our vision for St. Pius X Catholic School is to create an environment in which gospel values are integrated into the life of our school community. This value-based quality education will provide our students with opportunities to develop the intellectual, spiritual, social, and artistic skills and gifts that they will need to live in a global, technological society.

Dear Blue Jay Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful and restful Fall Break!
During the break, I had the privilege of attending the Fullness in Truth Conference, and it was truly an incredible experience! The conference featured inspiring speakers and presenters, including Father Carlos Martins, Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, Trent Horn, Matthew Leonard, and Fr. Josemaria Barbin, FI, to name just a few. One of the most meaningful moments was having the opportunity to see and touch a relic of the Veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was such a beautiful blessing and a moment I will always cherish.
If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend attending the upcoming Fullness in Truth Conference in Houston at Great Wolf Lodge, which will focus on the family. It promises to be a meaningful and enriching experience that can have a lasting impact on your faith and family life. https://muradbid.com/app/public/bidapp/fothoustonconference/tickets/tix
Our Halloween Carnival is this Friday! I hope you will make plans to join us for an evening of fun, fellowship, and community. Be sure to arrive hungry! We will have an incredible variety of delicious food options available this year, all prepared and served in-house. Please remember that tickets will be required for purchases. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
I am also excited to share two wonderful pieces of news with our Blue Jay community!
First, we received a $10,000 grant from H-E-B! This generous grant will allow us to purchase a set of Chromebooks for one of our classrooms, further supporting our students' learning and access to technology. We are so grateful to H-E-B for investing in our school and our students!
Second, St. Pius X Catholic School has been named the first-place winner in the Preschool category of the Best of the Best 2026 in Corpus Christi! After being nominated among the top three, we are incredibly humbled and grateful to receive this honor. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for our wonderful school and support our Blue Jay family.
A special shout-out goes to Mrs. Bryan and Mrs. Amy for their dedication and hard work, as well as to all the teachers and staff members, past and present, who have contributed to making St. Pius X the special place it is today. This recognition reflects the love, commitment, and faith that have been at the heart of our school throughout the years. Congratulations, Blue Jays!
Finally, please be sure to mark your calendars for February 6, 2027, as we celebrate our first-ever Gala! We look forward to gathering with our school families, parish, alumni, and community members to celebrate 60 years of faith, learning, and excellence at St. Pius X Catholic School. It will be a wonderful opportunity to honor our history and look forward to the bright future ahead.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and commitment to our school community. It is a blessing to serve alongside such wonderful families as we continue our mission to develop the whole child in a Christ-centered environment.
May God continue to bless our Blue Jay families!

St. Pius X Catholic School Winter Fund 2026
As we approach the Christmas season, we are reminded of the incredible dedication of our St. Pius X teachers and staff. This is a perfect time to express our profound gratitude for their unwavering commitment to our students and our mission.
We are thrilled to announce that an anonymous donor has pledged to match all gifts to our Winter Fund, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. This means your generosity will have twice the impact in showing our educators how much they are valued.
Our faculty and staff have chosen to dedicate their careers to Catholic education, often making personal sacrifices to do so. They are here out of a deep commitment to fostering both faith and knowledge in our students.
Please consider making a gift to honor these deserving individuals. Your contribution, doubled by this generous match, will serve as a powerful testament to our collective appreciation.

FACTS Best Practice: Parent Emails
As we keep our student records up to date in FACTS, we recommend a "best practice for your campus" regarding parent contact information. When adding or updating parent emails, please encourage families to use a personal email address (like Gmail or Yahoo) rather than a work or professional email.
Recent security updates across many corporate networks have made work spam filters much stricter. This means important school notifications sent through FACTS are more likely to be blocked or sent to a junk folder by a parent’s company server. Using personal emails ensures our communications reach parents directly and reliably.
