Juniors - Thiel College - January 22
Hello Juniors and Parents!
This is a reminder to RSVP if you are interested in attending a special reception for Thiel College ("TEEL") next Thursday. You will be able to speak with the President and Director of Admissions one-on-one and learn about what Thiel has to offer. With under 1,000 students, Thiel prides itself on its close-knit community.
Thiel is a relatively affordable private college with a high acceptance rate. Thiel also gives considerable financial aid.
Students who went to this event last year really liked being able to talk informally to the Senior Leadership staff of the college. They are very willing to talk to you and get to know you to see if you are a good fit for Thiel. The students who went last year were impressed that they were able to talk to the President of the college (and others) for so long in such a relaxed setting.
Please consider attending if for nothing else than the really good and free food and drinks, but I hope for more because that is what Thiel offers. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to me directly.

Message from The PTSO
The CSP MS/HS PTSO is committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate in school sponsored activities and programs. Federal Parent-Pupil Survey - Open until January 30, 2026
Parents who are active military or who live or work on Federal Property in Maryland are
asked to complete this year’s Federal Impact Aid Survey. It opened on September 30, 2025.
You will be asked to verify your home address and identify if it is located on federal
property. You will also complete sections identifying if a family member is in the military
or works on federally owned property in Maryland. The survey should only take a couple
of minutes to complete and be assured, all data collected is kept completely confidential.
Why Complete This Survey
Anne Arundel County Public Schools, like many local school districts across the United
States, include within our boundaries parcels of land that are owned by the Federal
Government or that have been removed from the local tax rolls by the Federal Government.
Federal property is exempt from local property taxes. By submitting an application to the
Department of Education each January, AACPS receives approximately $2 million to assist
in educating all our students.
