We made it to week 2 of the 2026-2027 school year.! Thank you parents for giving us grace this first week as we work through some of our processes and procedures.

Our regular attendance/tardy processes will take effect this week. Please be reminded that students should be in the building ready to start instruction by 7:50.

We have been working with NBPD to help with traffic patterns during carpool. Thank you for your patience and support as we get the kinks worked out these first 10 days of school.

Parents should not park and walk their student up to the front door. This will not help students be any earlier than going through the line. Please be respectful of your other Creekside Families.

Save the Date :Our Charleston Wrap Fundraiser will begin on Tuesday, September 1st. Packets will go home with weekly folders and we will post a kickoff video on our socials for you to view. See the flyer below for information.

New Bern Fire Department will be on campus during morning arrival on this Friday, September 4, 2026 to meet and greet our students. They will have Sparky the Firedog and the Firehouse Mascot Bobby.

The Creekside Parent/Student Handbook serves as a comprehensive guide for both school-specific and district-wide policies, procedures, and expectations. It includes important information about Creekside Elementary as well as relevant guidelines from the Craven County School District.

All transportation changes must be in writing. No transportation changes will be made by phone, nor after 2:30 PM. Bus changes will not be allowed this year as all students must be assigned to the route in which they are riding.
