Mental Health Matters - Meet Rachel Weiss Mental Health Matters - Meet Rachel Weiss

New Mental Health Therapist at CMHS

Welcome Rachel Weiss. I am so excited to be joining Clinton-Massie High School as the new Mental Health Therapist! As an alumni of this school, it is especially meaningful to return to a place that played an important role in my own life and have the opportunity to support today’s students. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and bring six years of experience as a social worker, including four years of experience as a mental health therapist working with children and adolescents. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where students feel heard, understood, and empowered. Students may request to meet with me for support with their mental health and emotional well-being, including navigating stress, anxiety, friendships, school challenges, big emotions, life changes, or simply having someone to talk to. There is a referral form on the students bookmark page to request to see me. My goal is to make sure every student knows that asking for help is a strength and that they don't have to navigate difficult things alone. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I am looking forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff and becoming a part of the Falcon community once again!
