We have talked with the students about donation courtesy! Instead of asking parents or grandparents AGAIN for a donation, we encouraged them to do chores, go door-to-door, talk on the phone, etc. The students can definitely EARN their donations too! Just put the money in an envelope with their name on it, and we will put it in their booster account!
Sponsor a Student: We had a parent ask if they could sponsor a child who didn't have a $1 a lap yet. If you would like to sponsor a student who has not received any pledges yet, please send $30 in an envelope with "Sponsor a Student" on it. You can send cash or write a check to Ireland PTO. I am sure you would make their day!
Please support our school today - here’s how:
- REGISTER your student(s) on mybooster.com starting today. It takes 30 seconds!
- SHARE with 5 family/friends using the SHARE tools on funrun.com (Facebook, Text Message or Email) Students will earn rewards just for sharing from mybooster.com
- GIVE a donation if you are able to give.
- DONATIONS students can collect pledges online, or they can bring in cash or a check made out to Ireland PTO. Please let us know who donated the money so we can give a shout-out to that individual on your child's pledge-o-meter!
- PRIZES your child will immediately receive the prizes that they have earned. On their page online, you can view all the prizes!
- Every share and donation makes a difference! And, don’t forget…
Students can receive rewards when parents share from mybooster.com - All students get to participate in the Event day, regardless of financial participation
- This fundraiser comes with an incredible character development program for students where they’ll be learning about the importance of teamwork, care, courage, grit, and celebration
Thank you for supporting our school - we are grateful for our amazing school community!

Expectations for Student Behavior at JHS Football Games
As the football season is upon us, I just wanted to revisit the Student expectations for our younger aged students who attend our home football games. This top of the line facility is one that the whole community of Jasper should be proud of and we should encourage everyone to take care of and preserve the immaculate condition of this facility. I wanted to address a matter of importance regarding student behavior at our school’s home football games. To help us maintain a respectful and orderly environment, please remind students of the following expectations that we have implemented for the past two football seasons:
No Running on the Track: Students are asked to avoid being in the track area. The only students permitted inside the fence of the track are the high school students, cheerleaders, dancers, and band.
No Running Through the Concourse: The concourse under the bleachers is very congested on game night. Running erratically in this area is a hazard, especially to our older population of fans that attend games.
No Throwing Objects: It is important that students refrain from throwing rocks or other objects down drains or onto the track. This behavior can lead to potential hazards and damage that impacts the facility. While we're at it, students can leave balls at home as there is really nowhere for this type of activity.
Respect for Landscaping: Please remind students not to run through or damage the landscaping around the venue. Respecting these areas helps keep our facilities looking their best and ensures a pleasant experience for everyone.
These guidelines are crucial for maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere at our games. We appreciate your assistance in communicating these expectations to students and reinforcing the importance of following them.
Thank you for your support and cooperation. Should you have any questions or need further details, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Important Reminders and Updates
School hours are 7:50AM -2:50PM. Students can arrive starting at 7:15AM. Students may not be dropped off prior to 7:15 AM. If you bring your child to school after 7:50 AM, you must escort them to the front doors.
We are highly encouraging parents who are bringing their child to school to use the car drop-off drive. If you would like to walk your child in, you will have to say goodbye outside the front doors. It will get congested there as that is where the buses drop-off. We will keep students moving as much as we can. Many staff members will be at all drop-off locations to help students to their appropriate classrooms. Please trust us that we have your child's best well-being in mind at all times.
All school supplies are provided by the PTO. Your child only needs a backpack, headphones, and a water bottle. Please write your child's name on all items.
Please see nurse Brandi Stiles for prescription medicine intake. All medicine must be accompanied by a parent and include a physician’s prescription. Students are not allowed to transport medicine to school.
VERY IMPORTANT- If your child's transportation changes, please notify the office with a note ASAP at iesoffice@gjcs.k12.in.us
Notification Process - Absences, Transportation Changes, Appointments
Please email the office at iesoffice@gjcs.k12.in.us as soon as you know.
