BMHS Boys Soccer Highlights! Congrats!
From Coach Denu
I just wanted to reach out to the staff and let you know about some pretty great accomplishments from our Beloit Memorial Boys Soccer Team so far this year.
* We currently have a record of 10 wins and 4 losses...three of those losses have been by only one goal and two of them came in the final minute of the game.
* We have two wins over teams that were ranked in the WSCA Top 10.
* We are undefeated in the Southern Lakes Conference and will play Elkhorn AT HOME on October 13th for the conference championship.
* We clinched our 18th straight winning season after our 4-1 victory over Lake Geneva Badger last night.
* Banks Denu has 30 goals on the season in only 12 games played and has the third highest number of goals in the entire state.
We have two more opportunities (maybe three if we earn a home game in playoffs) in Beloit to catch the guys in action:
Monday, October 5th vs. Fort Atkinson at 7:30 PM
Tuesday, October 13th vs. Elkhorn at 6:30 PM
Mark your Calendars for October 13th! We are really hoping to have a good crowd against Elkhorn on October 13th as we play for the conference championship!
Homecoming 2026
Homecoming is around the corner! The theme this year is A Knight on Olympus
- In order to be eligible to attend the dance, students should have no more than 6 periods of unexcused absences or unexcused tardies and no in-school or out-of-school suspensions from September 21st- October 9th. Even after students are approved and purchase a ticket, their admittance to the dance will be revoked due to an in or out-of-school suspension! Attendance corrections need to be addressed before students purchase a ticket, starting on October 12th.
- If the entire school is able to reach a building-wide attendance rate of 90%, the attendance criteria will be waived and the only criteria will be having no ISS/OSS.
Tickets will go on sale from October 12th-October 16th.
- Students must fill out a dance contract before purchasing a ticket (this will be sent to your email starting on Monday, September 21st). All of the dance expectations are included in the contract. If a student wants to purchase a ticket for someone who attends another school or has graduated, they must get a guest contract signed and turned in the week before homecoming. Paper copies of the guest contract can be found in the PACMES office, the HHES/BACH office, and the Main Office!

Becca's Closet & Knight's Armory
Becca’s Closet is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free formal wear to high school students so they can fully participate in dances such as homecoming and prom. We are preparing to open for the upcoming homecoming season, and I wanted to share this resource with you and your students. Becca’s Closet of Beloit serves students from across the Midwest—not just within the Beloit School District—and we currently have over 1,000 dresses available. In addition, through our program, The Knight’s Armory, we are proud to also offer free menswear options. Below are the dates and times we will be open.
Past Yearbooks Available!
In Honor of the Homecoming Celebration and the upcoming Holiday Season, the Yearbook Class will be selling the remaining Yearbooks from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for $35.00 each and the 2025 for $40.00 each. The 2026 Beloiter is still available to purchase at the original price of $70.00. What a great time to purchase a Beloiter Yearbook to remember your great memories during your years at Beloit Memorial High School, or as a special gift for someone during the Holiday Season. The Beloiter Yearbook will have a Concession Stand near the Snack Bar where only Cash or Check will be accepted for purchase. To purchase after the Homecoming Game through December 15th, please contact the Yearbook Staff Adviser, Beverly Broyles, at: Beloiter@sdb.K12.wi.us.

Direct Admit Wisconsin
Direct Admit Wisconsin, a program that offers eligible students automatic admission to participating UW System campuses. Direct Admit Wisconsin
Eligible students whose high school provided academic records of opted-in students during summer received their Direct Admit Wisconsin offer email on Saturday, August 1, through their high school email account. An admissions offer packet followed in the mail.
For high schools that provide academic records of opted-in students in fall, eligible students will receive admission offers on a rolling basis in September and October via their high school email address with a mailed admissions packet to follow.
Beginning August 1, students with offers can complete the Direct Admit Form in the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal. Completing the form notifies UWs that made admissions offers that students are interested and want to learn more.
To assist students in completing the form, helpful resources include:
- Next steps video and checklist for directly admitted students
- Direct Admit Form walkthrough and other how-to videos
- Direct Admit Form Walkthrough webinars (registration required)
- Downloadable Direct Admit Wisconsin Form: Step-By-Step Guide
- Contact Go Wisconsin/Admission Help via chat on the website, by calling 1-800-442-6459, or email dawi@go.wisconsin.edu.
Note: For high schools that will provide academic records of opted-in students this fall, eligible students will receive their email notification on a rolling basis during September and a mailed admissions packet in October.
