Torey J. Sabatini School
It's a GREAT day to be a Jaguar!
Dear TJS Families,
What a terrific week at TJS! Our students took part in School Safety Week activities that mixed learning with fun. The Madison Police and Fire Departments visited and led engaging assemblies that had our students asking great questions and showing their appreciation for our community helpers. Several grade levels also ventured out on exciting field trips, expanding their learning beyond the classroom walls.
Halloween arrives next week, and the excitement is already in the air. The memo below includes important guidelines to help ensure a safe and smooth celebration for everyone, so thank you in advance for reviewing it carefully.
Our Halloween parade will begin at 1:45 PM on the TJS field. Families are kindly asked to remain off the blacktop path, since our students will be using it as their parade route around the school grounds.
Looking forward to a spirited and safe celebration together! šš»
Warm regards,
Ms. Garcia

Professional Development News...NJ Principals and Supervisors Association Convention
TJS Principal Ms. Garcia and KRS Principal Dr. Koop were honored to be selected for the second year in a row to present at the NJPSA/FEA/NJASCD Fall Conference in Atlantic City on Friday, October 17. This yearās theme, Lead with JOY, aligned beautifully with our session titled āRooted in Joy: Leading Schools with Heart, Hope, and Purpose.ā We highlighted the importance of joy as a leadership strength, explored key pillars of joyful school leadership, and equipped fellow administrators from across New Jersey with practical strategies to lead with positivity and purpose while reflecting on their own leadership legacy. The session was well attended, and we were proud to represent Madison in such a meaningful way!
