Attendance Goals
Regular attendance is one of the simplest and most important ways families can support student success. When students are at school, they have opportunities to learn, build relationships, participate in activities, and stay connected to their school community.
This year, we're giving our Wolves a challenge: Can we beat last year's attendance?
π« PKβ8 Attendance
2025β26 Average: 93.1%
Our Goal: 93.1% or higher
August 31βSeptember 4: 94.9% β¬οΈ
π High School Attendance
2025β26 Average: 94.6%
Our Goal: 94.6% or higher

Both schools beat last year's average this week! Great job, Wolves!
We'll keep you updated throughout the year as we work together to keep our attendance above last year's averages.

ππ Learn. Belong. Thrive. ππ
At Pleasant Hill, we are working hard to make Learn, Belong, and Thrive more than just something we say. These moments show what that looks like across our schoolβand how our students are building connections, developing skills, and beginning to think about their futures.
Learning About Service & Careers
Our Kindergarten students welcomed two special visitors from the Army National Guard, including Mrs. Piconeβs daughter, Sonny, who recently joined the Guard. Sergeant Fielding shared some of the many jobs available in the National Guardβfrom driving large equipment to helping people during emergenciesβand asked our youngest Wolves what they want to be when they grow up. Experiences like this introduce students to possibilities and help them begin imagining their own futures.
Learning Together
Our Ag students worked together on a group project, putting collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and shared decision-making into practice. These are skills that matter in the classroom today and in whatever paths our students choose tomorrow.
Exploring Future Possibilities
One high school student used his study hall to research careers that interest him, including becoming a sheriffβs deputy. Helping students connect what they are doing today with where they might want to go tomorrow is an important part of preparing them to thrive beyond Pleasant Hill.
Building Belonging Across Grade Levels
Our sixth graders spent time playing with our Pre-K students. For our youngest Wolves, it was a chance to connect with some of the βbig kids.β For our sixth graders, it was an opportunity to lead, include, and care for younger members of their school community. These relationships help make Pleasant Hill feel like one school and one Wolf Pack.
Community Support Helps Our Students Thrive
Our FFA chapter received a $1,000 donation from Heritage Tractor as part of its Traveling Tractor program! Heritage Tractor selected Pleasant Hill FFA from among the schools in its service area to receive this donation. We are grateful for community partners who recognize the value of agricultural education and choose to invest in opportunities for our students. Thank you, Heritage Tractor, for supporting our Wolves and helping our students thrive!
These experiences support an important area of our School Improvement Plan: Future Orientation. We want students at every age to begin seeing possibilities for themselves, develop the skills they will need to reach their goals, and understand that what they learn and experience in school can help shape what comes next.
They are learning. We are creating a school where every student can feel they belong. And we are helping prepare them to thrive in life after high school.
