Tiger Talk

What. A. Week!
We are crossing our fingers for less storms and more sunshine for the remainder of spring time here at Smithton!!! I do have to brag about the care and compassion our Tigers showed one another on Wednesday when we took shelter. There were so many hugs and encouraging words shared amongst students. They comforted one another and truly just showed up for one another. Now with that being said, if we never have to shelter again it will be too soon! 🤪
Reminder, if you drop your child off after 7:55 at the Elementary, please be sure you escort them into the building and sign them in. We just want to ensure everyone is where they are supposed to be safely.
Also, as the weather gets nicer if you plan to pick up your child as a walker instead of a car rider, please let the office know as that determines which dismissal group they are in.
MYSTERY READER !
This Thursday we hope you can join us for a Mystery Reader Literacy Event. Our Elementary and Title One team have worked together to create a super exciting event that is sure to keep our kiddos on the edge of their seat! Be sure to check out social media this week to see if you can figure out who the mystery readers are. There will be clues all week and we hope you are able to join us on Thursday to see if you guessed correctly!
