Wishing all of you a very blessed Christmas Holiday!
From The Bronco Roundup
A Note from Our Principal, Mrs. Guillory
As we wrap up this semester and head into the holiday season, I want to take a moment to remind you about the true spirit of Christmas. Itβs not just about gifts or decorationsβitβs about kindness, gratitude, and caring for others. Take time to appreciate your family, friends, and all the wonderful opportunities youβve had to learn and grow this year.
Youβve worked hard, and Iβm proud of the effort youβve put into your studies. Finish strong, and remember that every challenge youβve faced has helped you become stronger and smarter. Over the break, rest, recharge, and spread joy wherever you go.
β Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! π
Letβs come back ready for an amazing new semester.
CPSB Middle School Principal of the Year, Mrs. Angela Guillory
We are very proud to share the news that our very own Moss Bluff Middle School Principal, Mrs. Angela Guillory, has been named as Calcasieu Parish School Board's Middle School Principal of the Year!
"With two decades of service in Calcasieu Parish schools, Mrs. Angela Guillory has dedicated her career to middle school education. She has taught social studies, led enrichment programs in jazz dance, and coached cheerleading for 12 years before moving into leadership roles as curriculum coordinator, dean of students, and assistant principal. Now in her role as principal of Moss Bluff Middle School, Mrs. Guillory continues to make a meaningful impact on students, staff, and the broader community, leading with energy, empathy, and a true love for education."
"Strong schools are built on strong leadership," said Superintendent Dr. Jason VanMetre. "Our principals inspire students, empower teachers, and shape the culture of our schools. Their vision and commitment are at the heart of our success as a district. We are proud to celebrate our outstanding leaders who embody what it means to selflessly serve our students, teachers, and staff."
MBMS MAKES SCHOOL RATING HISTORY!

Lastly, thank you to our beautiful town of Moss Bluff for all the support given to our school!
There's an App for That!
There is a new App that can and will be used throughout the Parish to report things anonymously from your phone, iPad, or computer-The Close Watch App.
Brief Overview: A complaint is received by CPSO and law enforcement will check out the complaint to make sure it is legitimate and will then move forward.
Crimes and thefts can be reported, either in school or out, and it can prevent mass casualty incidents with just a few key strokes.
See something, say something, itβs right at your fingertips!
It's in the App Store called Calcasieu Close Watch.
*Remember, if you see or hear something, REPORT IT to a MBMS admin or a faculty / staff member IMMEDIATELY!*

The Student Council sponsors Teacher Appreciation Week, food drives, school spirit activities, andβwhen permittedβschool dances. Each year, donations are made to a different charity.
Kindness Week @ MBMS
Kindness Week at MBMS: During this week, students were celebrating Kindness Week with fun dress-up days that each represent a different way to show kindness. Lorelei Duff, Regan Kennedy, and Klaire Durio explain what each day means and how it encourages us to spread kindness throughout our school.
WEDNESDAY: How does dressing up as kids, middle aged, and elders have to do with kindness?
Β· Growing up with kindness between the ages shows me that your kindness will travel with you throughout the ages and should be at the front of your mine all the time.
THURSDAY: What does dress up as different colors have to do with kindness?
Β· It means showing your grade level by dressing all out in your designated color. 6th grade was yellow, 7th grade was blue, and 8th grade was purple. This was easier to tell for teachers to know which student was in which grade.
FRIDAY: How does dressing up as bright colors show kindness?
Β· Dressing up in bright colors shows everyone how to be bright, bold and kind. This means that if you wear bright colors your brighter and show off as kind.
Student Council Food & Coin Drive
The Student Councilβs coin and canned food drives are meaningful fundraisers that provide essential support to those in need. Your generosity helps families during challenging timesβespecially throughout the holiday season. Every donation of money and food makes a real difference and reflects the heart of our school community. Thank you for showing what it means to be a Bronco!
