This week in our Green STEM Lab, Grade 3 students engaged in hands-on learning that sparked creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students explored digital design, built engineering models, worked with patterns, and strengthened their numeracy skills through interactive activities. These experiences allow students to think critically, test ideas, and learn from one another while connecting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in meaningful ways. The Green STEM Lab continues to be a space where curiosity grows and innovation comes to life.

Stem, religion and art combined! The students had to plan out angles and discovered importance of the order of steps in order to achieve symmetry!

As we move toward Easter and begin to see spring bringing new life to the world around us, this is also a meaningful time to renew the routines and relationships that support wellness across our school community. At EPK, Systemic Wellness means creating the conditions where students, staff, and families feel supported, connected, and able to thrive. This includes predictable routines, caring relationships, opportunities for movement and prayer, and spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging. As nature begins to awaken again, we are reminded that wellness also grows through small, intentional actions each day—kind words, consistent expectations, moments of reflection, and time spent learning and connecting together. These shared practices help strengthen a healthy, joyful school culture for all.
