GCS is Reaching New Heights!

Greenville County Schools has reached a historic milestone with the release of the 2025 State Report Card results. For the first time ever, the district's graduation rate has surpassed 90%, climbing to 90.6% for the Class of 2025—an impressive 18-point gain since 2012. Even more significantly, 85% of those graduates earned a college- or career-ready designation, reflecting a 20-point increase in just five years. Across all grade levels, the district continues to excel, with 97.7% of GCS schools earning ratings of Excellent, Good, or Average—marking a nine-point jump from last year. These accomplishments speak volumes about the determination of students, the dedication of teachers and staff, the leadership of school and district administrators, and the critical support of families, the Board of Trustees, and the broader Greenville community.
