AVA Family Update
May 10, 2024
Good afternoon AVA Students and Families,
I have next week's schedule, the guidance and community updates, and important dates below as usual. The career fair is next Tuesday, so I've left that info as well.
Graduation is upon us shortly. I will be reaching out to all seniors next week just to confirm we are all on the page.
For those not graduating, and are considering going back to AHS this fall, I have also included the transportation sign ups that students must complete if they wish to participate in any busing. I'll keep this info at the bottom of the update for the rest of the year.
Thank you for your time.

Another kind reminder: all AVA students grades 9-11 should continue to utilize the free online College and Career search tool Naviance. Part of School-to-Career's summer programs, WBLA has some virtual opportunities (with pay!). Please click HERE for a student flyer and also HERE for a slidedeck with more details. The deadline to apply is May 17th, so if interested, it is best to reach out directly to the AHS Career Specialist Ms. Louryn Hoff (lhoff@attleboroschools.com). Grades 9-11, Next Year Plans Survey
A couple of weeks ago, we had sent out a quick survey about next year plans, whether to remain in AVA or something else. I have received feedback that some families may have used personal Gmail accounts to complete the survey. Please note that submissions through anything other than students' attleborops.net will not be received by us, so if you have not completed the survey yet through students' attleborops.net account, please do so. Survey can be found HERE. Please submit as soon as possible.
Senior Exit Survey
Graduating AVA seniors: please complete this quick Exit Survey to confirm your after-graduation plans, whether college, workforce, military, or something else. You must be logged into your attleborops.net email account to access and submit. This is a mandatory task, so please complete and submit by the last day for seniors on May 24th.
As always, please email me at nng@attleboroschools.com with any comments, suggestions, and concerns, or to make a virtual meeting appointment. Have a great weekend!
