Welcome Back!

West View FamilyNewsletterWelcome Back!

Welcome to the start of a new school year at West View! I hope this message finds you well and that you enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating summer. It is with great excitement that I welcome you back, and I’m thrilled to announce this year’s theme: "Together We Win."

"Together We Win"

This theme reflects our belief in the power of community, collaboration, and mutual support. As we embark on this new academic journey, we are reminded that success is not just an individual achievement but a collective effort. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or within our school community, when we work together, we all achieve more.

Principal- Mrs. Craig

Welcome back to a brand new school year! As we gather once again, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about the year ahead.

Building on the success of our "All Hands on Deck" Powerhour approach to literacy, we are expanding this dynamic program to include math! This initiative has already made a significant impact on our students' reading skills, and I’m confident it will bring the same success in math. Our goal is to ensure that every student receives the personalized support they need..

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and joy for all.You can reach me directly at sarah.craig@rps205.com

Assistant Principal- Mrs. Solverson

I hope you’re all doing well! Although I’ve been part of the West View Team for a few years now, I’m excited to step into a new role as your Assistant Principal!.

I started my journey as a middle school math teacher and loved the energy of my students. But when I had the chance to try something new at the elementary level, I jumped at it! I've worked on reading, math, and behavior support, and I can’t wait to bring all my experiences to this new role.

As a proud mom of three amazing RPS 205 students, I care deeply about our community and schools. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and making our school an even better place to learn and grow. Thank you for welcoming me, and let’s make this year fantastic together!
