Schedule a meeting with Mrs. Jarka during the month of September

During the month of September, Grade 12 students--CLASS OF 2025-- will need to schedule a meeting with Mrs. Jarka. In these meetings, we will review your credits and other graduation requirements to ensure you are not missing anything to graduate on time. Mr. Adams, Duneland's Mental Health Counselor, may join the senior meetings if his schedule allows. Use this link to schedule your meeting. While I have several openings, they will fill up fast. NEW MEETING TIMES HAVE BEEN ADDED.

Keep Reading to find out more about ordering your cap & gown

We have reached that point in time in the year where we need to start working on planning for your graduation. The first steps include gathering information from you to order caps & gowns. Our company, Herff Jones gets information from you and then will communicate with you directly.

  • Though your diploma will be from the Northwest Indiana Online School, which is a school within the Duneland School Corporation, the administration of Chesterton High School has invited NWIOS seniors to an in-person meeting. (Friday, 9/25/2024 at 10:00 am)

  • A Herff-Jones Representative will be in person to explain all things about your cap & gown, apparel, and ordering.

  • As a NWIOS student, you will need to check in at the office (Door 1) before going to the auditorium.

Payment is not due at the time of ordering, but it will be due at the time of pick up.
