News and Notes

Happy Sunday FUNday, Wildcat Families!

If you stepped outside today, you felt it. The sunshine is showing off, but that South Georgia wind is already whispering that colder temperatures are headed our way tomorrow. Around here, the weather keeps us guessing. As Forrest Gump wisely said, it’s like a box of chocolates… you just never know what you’re going to get.

With nearly 75% of our first year at the BLVD complete, we are in a strong season of growth. Students have settled into routines, confidence is building, and we are seeing “AHA” moments across classrooms, activities, and athletics. It is exciting to watch your children grow not just academically, but in maturity and purpose.

As we continue this momentum, we are also preparing for what lies ahead. For our seniors and their families, graduation season is approaching quickly.

IMPORTANT: Graduation Ticket Request Form Goes Live Tomorrow

The 2026 RHHS Graduation Ticket Request Form will be shared Monday, February 23, 2026 via email and text. Senior families, please read the following guidelines carefully:

  • RHHS seniors must complete the form using their school email account.
  • Only one submission will be accepted per senior.
  • Each senior may request up to 11 tickets.
  • Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket for entry.
  • Members of the Class of 2026 do NOT need a ticket.

(This form is essential for planning and seating logistics. We strongly encourage seniors to complete the request form as soon as it is received on Monday.)

We do not want any family to miss this important step as we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2026.

Please make it a priority to review the graduation section of this newsletter and complete the form once it opens.

We do not want any family to miss this opportunity for request.

As we move from good to great this spring, our focus remains intentional planning, strong communication, and meaningful support for every student. Sometimes students need a little extra structure or encouragement to stand tall during this busy season. When school and home work together, growth happens quickly.

The Hill is especially busy right now with student recognitions, athletics, and celebrations across campus. If you are looking for ways to stay connected, simply check the calendar on our school webpage, check GoFan or give us a call at the school. There is always something happening.

We are looking forward to a full five-day week ahead and the strong finish that is coming into view.

See ya, love ya, bye!

PAGE STAR Students PAGE STAR Students

Congratulations to our TWO STAR students this year who tied in achieving the highest score on the SAT in their senior class! These two scholars will move on to compete in the regional PAGE STAR banquet at Georgia Southern in April. Each STAR student selects a teacher who has made an impact on his/her educational journey as his/her STAR Teacher. Delaney selected Mrs. Cindy Dixon and Elizabeth selected Mrs. Faith Fitzgerald. A special thanks to the Richmond Hill Lion's Club for awarding both students a $1,000 scholarship towards their future postsecondary institutions! Well done, ladies!

"Don't tell the secret." Join the Theatre Arts pathway in watching Trap by Stephen Gregg as part of their production unit. During this unit in class, students are assessed with both formative and summative assessments ranging from blocking to performance per our standards. They learn how a full production is put together with lighting design, sound design, costume design, set design, stage managing, acting, and directing.

**This show might be too scary for young audience members.

Car-rider/parent drop-off information - Click Here

  • If you are dropping off a car rider, please stay in the right lane and keep the left lane open when entering the round-a-bout for our student drivers.
  • When dropping your child off in the morning and when picking them up in the afternoon, we kindly ask that you pull all the way down to the sidewalk right before the student parking lot B entry and ensure that your child is ready to unload as soon as you stop. This will allow for us to clear Belfast Keller and keep traffic rolling. Is it further than curbside drop-off? Yes. Is it going to allow for more cars to drop off at once? Yes. Is it a safe alternative? Absolutely. We appreciate you working with us so we can clear the car line in a timely fashion.
  • If I arrive with my child prior to the 7am opening of school can they disembark from the car? Yes. We would appreciate you going ahead and letting them out. They are welcome to wait outside in the front of the school or step into the air conditioned foyer of the building prior to all-staff arrival.
